Functions:

  • Filter the Rubbish: Rust and organic sediment particles and stops the propagation of bacteria.

  • Easy installation: Soak the Filter in water overnight, and wash under warm water (not boiling water) for 10 min till all black discharge comes out from the finest quality of charcoal.
Notes:
  1. In the event of an extremely slow filtration process, please rinse the filter with warm water, not boiling water.
  2. Please soak the filter and pads in water overnight, to remove the air in between the particles and material inside.
  3. If the filter turns green, rinse with warm water and take care that the unit does not stand in direct sunlight.
  4. If water flows over the middle ring, it may be because the activated carbon is blocked. Simply rinse the filter with warm water (not boiling water).

  • AIMEX Australia 8 Stage water purifying System removes most of the Chlorine from the tap water. Chlorine kills bacteria and algae in the water, but it’s harmful to the human body as it forms Trihalomethanes, which are associated with cancer.
  • Algae counts in the water vary and its growth can be more rapid than in others. To avoid Algae growth (due to the absence of Chlorine) in the Healthy Water System, it is necessary to clean the water bowls once a week and rinse the filters at least once a month.
  • Rinse the filter system once a month with warm water. (Not boiling water), it will damage the system.
  • Replace the filter every SIX months or 5000L water usage.
  • Take care that the unit does not stand in direct sunlight.                   

 Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Maintenance before use: please put the felt pad dome, carbon filter and mineral stones into water for 30 minutes before use.
  • Maintenance after use: Crystal polycarbonate containers (water bowls) to ensure healthy water clean both water bowls once a week by simply rinsing them with water.
  • Please Make sure to wash the cartridge before using it. Please follow the installation instructions given in the manual.

Taste: 

While most people love the way their water tastes on filtration, please note that taste is an individual preference and may vary based on personal choice. While we give you the reassurance that water filtered with Aimex water filters is pure and healthy, and the taste is what most buyers consider as ‘tasty’, please be advised that as filtration is a defined process there is nothing, we can do externally to change the taste if you prefer it otherwise.

The elements present in water give a distinct taste. Before filtration, along with taste, tap water may also have some odour. During the filtration process, elements like Chlorine and heavy metals like Lead, etc., are all removed; hence, the distinct taste formed due to these elements is neutralised. 

In our water filters, along with filtration, remineralisation also takes place in which important trace minerals are added back, balancing the pH of the water to slightly alkaline, which is better for the body. This adds a slight taste to the filtered water. 

According to us, our filtered water has an almost neutral taste or a very slight taste due to the added minerals, but it does not taste like chlorinated or contaminated water, and that’s how it should be. 

It may happen that when you first switch to drinking filtered water, you may feel the difference and it takes some time to adapt to the new taste. Knowing that it is good for your health makes it tastier.

What is the time frame for returns?

Within 7 calendar days of the delivered date.

The item I received is damaged!

If the purchased product is delivered damaged, reach out to us within 24 hours of receiving the item.

Can the items be exchanged?

Sorry, we don't allow exchanges due to complexity in shipping & handling process. 

Who pays the return shipping cost ?

1 - For faulty items or Items received damaged : Bring To Door pays the return shipping cost. We will arrange the full refund once the item is returned to our warehouse & inspected.

2 - Returns for change of mind/any other reasons : Customer needs to pay the return shipping cost + 10% restocking fee. We will arrange a partial refund once the item is returned to our warehouse.

3 - To cancel an order in transit, which is considered as Return to Sender*** Request :  a 10% restocking fee would be deducted from your refund. We will arrange a partial refund once the item is returned to our warehouse.

Please note that we cannot guarantee if the Return to Sender*** request will be successful. If failed, the customer needs to REJECT THE ITEM WHEN ITS ARRIVED.

*** IF NOT REJECTED AT ARRIVAL -  the customer will need to cover the return cost. Please ensure the item is not used and keeps its original packaging.
